The Dogs Queen is a home-based dog grooming studio in Antelope, CA. Every dog is groomed by Alevtina, who has been grooming since 2021, and every appointment is one-on-one and cage-free: your dog is the only pet in the studio, with no crates and no kennels. It’s a calm, quiet setting that helps everyone from confident retrievers to nervous first-timers relax, and it keeps Alevtina’s full attention on your dog from start to finish.

There are two dog grooming packages, and both are priced by your dog’s size.

Little dogs have their own size groups: XS for dogs under 7 lbs and S for 7–22 lbs, so a Yorkie or a Chihuahua isn’t charged like a Lab. Small dogs often find a busy salon overwhelming, and a quiet studio with no other dogs around makes the visit much easier for them. Dogs up to 22 lbs can also add our ozone + SPA treatment.
Between full grooms, you can book a nail trim or an anal gland cleaning on its own. Each costs $15.
If your dog’s coat is matted, Alevtina will look at it with you when you arrive and talk through the options. Mat removal is $35 per hour. When shaving the mats is the kinder option, it starts at $15. Your dog’s comfort always comes first.
We start with a quick chat when you arrive so we understand your dog’s coat, temperament and the look you want. A grooming appointment takes about 2 to 3.5 hours, depending on your dog’s size, coat and package. Alevtina uses calm, gentle handling throughout and takes breaks as needed, so every step is paced to your dog’s comfort.
How often should a dog be groomed?
Most dogs do best with a full groom every 4 to 8 weeks, depending on breed and coat type.
Will my dog be groomed alongside other dogs?
No. Grooming here is one-on-one, so your dog is the only pet in the studio during the appointment.
Do you handle anxious dogs?
Yes. We use gentle handling and take breaks as needed so anxious dogs feel comfortable throughout the visit. Patience always comes before speed.

Bath & Tidy keeps your dog clean and neat between haircuts. Choose Full Groom when your dog needs a full-body haircut.
Do I need to book ahead?
We recommend booking ahead so we can reserve the right amount of time for your dog’s coat and size.
